c.From a terminal window on the Sun workstation, enter the following command:

#/usr/bin/tip hardwire

Note –If the port is busy, refer to “Troubleshooting the Cluster Platform 4500/3 Installation” on page 69 in Appendix D.

3.Configure the terminal concentrator device:

■Power on the terminal concentrator.

■Within 5 seconds, after power-on, press and release the TEST button.

The terminal concentrator undergoes a series of diagnostics tests that take approximately 60 seconds to complete.

Following the diagnostics tests, the tip window of the administration workstation should display:
