▼Removing Pins

Before you can attempt to straighten a bent pin, you must remove the pins surrounding the bent pin. See FIGURE 2-10.

1.Locate the bent pin.

2.Use the Molex tool to remove the pin (if any) above the bent pin.

a.Slide the Molex tool completely over the pin.

b.Activate the lock to grasp the pin.

c.Press the trigger to pull the pin out.

d.Push the ejector back in to release the pin and reset the tool.

3.Set the pin aside.

4.Use the Molex tool repeating Step 2 to remove the pin (if any) below the bent pin.

5.Set the pin aside.
