7.If you do not have a DHCP server on your network, you can use the Network Attached Storage as your network’s DHCP server. To use the Network Attached Storage as a DHCP server, select Enable DHCP Server. Then enter the range of IP addresses you want to assign on your network. The final fields of the Start and Finish IP Addresses can range from 2 to 253.

Enable DHCP Server. Select this feature only if you want the Network Attached Storage to assign IP addresses to your network devices. In most cases, you will not use this setting because you already have a network router or gateway assigning IP addresses.

Start IP Address. Enter the starting IP address of the range you want to assign.

Finish IP Address. Enter the last IP address of the range you want to assign.

Click the Next button to proceed or the Back button to return to the previous screen.

8.Change the time and date on the Network Attached Storage.

Local Time. Set your current time here.

Time Zone. Select your local time zone from the drop-down menu here.

Local Date. Set your current date here.

Click the Next button to proceed or the Back button to return to the previous screen.
