Forwarding Table

Configuration Menu

The Forwarding Table Configuration Menu allows you to view and modify forwarding table parameters. Select a from the Switch Configuration Menu to view the Forwarding Table Configuration Menu. Figure 3-7 shows the Forwarding Table Configuration Menu and Table 3-6 describes the Menu.

Displays the type of address entry: system, dynamic or static.

 

 

Disposition

Displays the disposition of the address entry: local, forward or discard.

 

 

Port #

Displays the port number associated with the MAC address entry.

 

 

Port Name

Displays the administrative name assigned to the port.
