APPENDIX

LAMP REPLACEMENT

When the projection lamp of this projector reaches its end of

life, the LAMP REPLACE indicator lights yellow. If this

indicator lights yellow, replace the projection lamp with a newTOP CONTROL one promptly.

This indicator lights yellow when the projection lamp reaches its end of life.

Replace the projection lamp with a new one promptly.

CAUTION

Allow the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes before you open the lamp cover. The inside of the projector can become very hot.

CAUTION

For continued safety, replace with a lamp assembly of the same type.

Do not drop the lamp assembly or touch a glass bulb! The glass can shatter and may cause injury.

Follow these steps to replace lamp assembly.

Turn off the projector and unplug the AC power cord. Allow

 

the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes.

Loosen the two (2) screws with a screwdriver and open the

 

lamp cover.

Loosen the two (2) screws with a screwdriver and pull out the

 

lamp assembly by using the built in handle.

Replace the lamp assembly with a new one and tighten the

 

two (2) screws. Make sure that the lamp assembly is set

 

properly. Put back the lamp cover and tighten the two (2)

 

screws.

Connect the AC power cord to the projector and turn on the

 

projector.

Reset the Lamp replacement counter (refer to”LAMP

 

REPLACE COUNTER” on the next page).

NOTE:

Do not reset the Lamp replacement counter when the projection lamp is not replaced.
