4-9. Setting Apple Macintosh Monitor Mode (Windowed or Compressed)

The MP8650 should be set to the desired Apple Macintosh monitor mode. Press the RGB button then RESET button on the remote control to switch between the ON compressed mode or OFF windowed mode. Press RESET again to switch the ON/OFF setting. ON OFF ON .

￿Note

In the compressed mode (ON), an 832 x 624 image is fully displayed by the 800 x 600 projector format. In the windowed mode (OFF), you will need to scroll the display to see the full 832 x 624 image.

4-10. Menu Languages

The MP8650 will display on-screen menus in the following languages:

DEnglish

DFrench

DSpanish

Press the VIDEO button then the RESET button on the remote control to switch the displayed language. Press RESET again to switch to the next language. English French Spanish English.

4-11. Turning Off the Projector

Press the STANDBY/ON button (remote control keypad or projector control panel) to switch the projector to the standby mode. The lamp will shut off and the green indicator on the projector panel will turn to orange. Wait until the cooling fan motor cycles off before you press the Power Off switch (Figure 3-2).

￿Note

Switching the power off before the fan has cycled off, will decrease the life of the projection lamp.
