2.3.2 Using the Mac OS X Dial-in Client

Configuring a dial-inTo create a dial-in connection proceed as follows: connection on a Mac 1 On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.

2The System Preferences window appears. Click the Network icon.

3The Network window appears:

Starting a dial-in connection on a Mac OS X platform

In the Show list, select Ethernet Adaptor (enx) and click the PPPoE tab.

4Enter the Account Name and Password provided by your Service Provider and Click Apply now.

To connect to the internet proceed as follows:

1Click the Internet Connect icon in the dock.

2The following window appears:

Make sure Ethernet Adaptor (enx) is selected in the Configuration list. Enter your password and click Connect.

3Your computer connects to the internet.
