Sharing Printer

After installing the printer driver on the client computer, follow the setup procedures below. For details on installing the printer driver, refer to "INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER" in the Setup Guide and Operation Manual.

This page provides steps for Windows 95/98 users only. If your operating system is Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0, refer to the operation manual or the help file of your operating system.

Click the "Start" button, select "Settings", and then click "Printers".

Right-click the "SHARP AJ-1800" or "SHARP AJ- 2000" printer driver icon, and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.

Type the port name as shown below or click

"Browse" button and double-click Server's

computer name and then click "Sharp". \\Client with shared printer\Sharp
