Turning the Power off

1 Press STANDBY on the projector

or on the remote control, then press that button again while the confirmation message is displayed, to put the projec- tor into the standby mode.

Note

If you accidentally pressed

STANDBY or and do not want to put the projector into the standby mode, wait until the confirmation message disappears.

The projector cannot be operated while a message “Shutting Down. Please Wait.” is displayed.

2 Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet after the cooling fan stops.

Info

Do not unplug the power cord dur- ing projection or cooling fan opera- tion. This can cause damage due to the rise in internal temperature, as the cooling fan also stops.
