The 35mm negative mask also has a calibration slot. Do not place items to be scanned in the calibration slot.

You’re now ready to scan the slide or negative using the PaperPort

Advanced Interface.

To scan a 35mm slide or negative:

1. Start the PaperPort software and click the Scan icon on the toolbar.

Tip: You can also start the Advanced Interface from the scanner buttons by setting a button to “Conﬁgure Before Scanning.” See “Selecting Options for a Button” on page 65.

The Folders pane is replaced by the Scan pane.

2.From the Scanner list, select Visioneer 9420.

3.In the “Scan what?” section, choose Photograph.
