5.8.4Remote Image Upgrade

Your ISP may from time to time notify you that a software upgrade is available. Upgrade files may be provided to you in two ways:

zOn a CD-ROM or other media. You can use Configuration Manager to upload the file from the CD-ROM drive or your PC's hard drive (or shared network drive) to system flash. For instructions on this method, see Local Image Upgrade

zOn remote ISP server. You can use Configuration Manager to download the file and load it to system flash. Instructions for using this method are provided below.

1.If the Remote Image Upgrade page is not already displaying, click the Admin tab, then click Remote Image Upgrade in the task bar.

2.In the IP Address text boxes, type the IP address of the server from which the file is to be downloaded.
