Save all changes made. If not saved, changes will be lost when power is removed from a Unit.

The Main configuration menu is the starting point for the configuration menus. From this menu, you can configure the system, computers, KVMs, Users, Profiles, Groups, and Languages. To display the “Main menu”, press and release the left control [Ctrl] key, then the F12 key. Command characters following the press and release of the left control [Ctrl] key, like the F12 key, must be entered within 2 seconds or the command is aborted. All numeric inputs to the menu system must be done using the numeric keys above the keyboard. The numeric keypad cannot be used for entering numbers. Keyboards that do not have separate page up and page down keys, the page up and page down keys on the keypad can be used for scrolling through the menu pages. The main menu will display on top of a currently connected computers video. If no computer is connected to supply the video, the display’s background is black.

When you select (highlight) a menu section and press [Enter] that section’s menu will display, an input text box will display for a new value, or a list of supported choices will display. Enter or select the information needed and press [Enter]. To return to the previous page or abort an input, press the [Esc] key. All changes made to the menu system are only temporary. They are in effect as long as power is applied to the Unit. Once power is removed, the changes are aborted unless they have been saved. The text box at the bottom of the menu screen provides a brief explanation of the menu option that is selected.

The following pages explain the UltraMatrix menus and the options available.
