When the SATA Controller Mode is set to Enhanced, the following items will display:

SATA RAID Enable (Available when the item-SATA Controller Mode Operation indicated is set to Enhanced.)

Select Enable to enable Serial ATA RAID Functions. (*For the Windows OS environment, use the RAID driver if this feature is set to Enabled. When this item is set to Enabled, the item: "ICH RAID Code Base" will be available for you to select either Intel or Adaptec Host RAID ﬁrmware. If this item is set to Disabled, the item- SATA AHCI Enable will be available.) The options are Enabled and Disabled.

ICH RAID Code Base (Available when SATA RAID is Enabled.)

Select Intel to enable Intel's SATA RAID ﬁrmware. Select Adaptec to use Adaptec's HostRAID ﬁrmware. The options are Intel and Adaptec.

SATA AHCI (Available when SATA RAID is Disabled.)

Select Enable to enable the function of Serial ATA Advanced Host Interface. (*Take caution when using this function. This feature is for advanced programmers only. The options are Enabled and Disabled.)

System Memory

This display informs you how much system memory is detected by the BIOS.

Extended Memory

This display informs you how much extended memory is detected by the BIOS.
