The Award Plug and Play BIOS can automatically configure all the boot and Plug and Play compatible devices. If you seelect Auto, all the interrupt request and DMA assignment fields disappear, as the BIOS automatically assigns them.

When resources are controlled manually, assign each system interrupt as one of the following types, depending on the type of device using the interrupt.

Legacy ISA

Devices compliant with the original PC AT bus specification.

PCI/ISA PnP

Devices compliant with the Plug and Play standard, whether designed for the PCI or ISA bus architecture.

wPCI IRQ Activated By:

Select the PCI IRQ Active scheme either LEVEL or EDGE. Default value is LEVEL.

wPCI IDE IRQ Map To:

Select the IDE IRQ Map to ISA IRQ#.

wPrimary IDE INT#

Select the PCI INT# that the Primary IDE controller will use. Default value is A.

wSecondary IDE INT#

Select the PCI INT# that the Secondary IDE controller will use. Default value is B
