Step 3—Install the HA311 Wireless PCI Adapter Driver

Once you have installed the HA311 Wireless PCI Adapter, you will need to make sure the appropriate driver is installed on your PC. To do this, please follow these steps:

If you are using Windows NT 4.0, please follow the instructions on page 21.

FOR WINDOWS XP, 2000, ME, AND 98 SE USERS

1.Turn on your PC and logon to Windows, if applicable.

2.For Windows 98 SE and Windows ME users, Windows automatically will detect the newly installed HA311 Wireless Adapter and prompt you to restart your computer in the System Setting Changes message window. Click Yes to restart your computer.

For Windows 2000 users, Windows 2000 automatically will find the new HA311 Wireless PCI Adapter and display the Digital Signature Not Found message window. Click Yes to allow Windows 2000 to install the driver and initialize the HA311 Wireless PCI Adapter.
