3.5.1Network Settings

Click on the Networksection in the menu.

This menu enables the administrator to configure the network parameters of the card and authorisation of the remote upgrade of the embedded system.

ZIP address: The IP address of the card (e.g.: 172.17.23.205).

ZSubnet Mask: The mask of the sub-network of your network (e.g.: 255.255.255.0).

ZGateway Address: Indicate the IP address of the gateway to access the stations located outside the

card’s sub-network (e.g.: 172.17.1.24).

ZHostname must be suited to the card. This is the first part of the full qualified domain name, used by the

DNS (name must be compatible with DNS rules)

ZDomain name is the domain to which the card belongs. This is the part of the full qualified domain name that follows the host name and is used by the DNS. The default value of the two parameters comprising the full qualified domain name: ups.domain.com

ZTELNET connection: Authorises (choose enable) remote connection with a terminal to access the maintenance menu.

ZBootP/DHCP: Authorises (choose enable) configuration of network parameters with your BootP/DHCP server when the card is booted
