Accessing the System
A LongView IP KVM user station will automatically initiate a connection with the target computer. A series of messages will be displayed on the screen to inform you of the progress of the connection. You will be able to interact with the target computer as if it were located at your desk.
NOTE: If the target computer has been turned off, the user station cannot establish a connection.
OSD functions
The user station incorporates an OSD that allows you to view information about the configuration of your system. The OSD also allows for setting network parameters such as the IP address.
Displaying system information using the OSD
The OSD enables you to display the firmware release of the user station and the transmitter. For optimum performance, keep your firmware current. The OSD also enables you to view the IP address and MAC address of both the user station and transmitter.
To display system information:
1.Press Print Screen and select the Info tab to view system information for your user station and transmitter.
