Field or Button

Description

IP Address

The router’s IP Address used to connect to your

 

ISP. It is either automatically displayed or

 

manually entered from information provided by

 

your ISP.

 

For example, if DHCP is selected, this is the IP

 

Address that your router is currently using to

 

access the Internet. If using Static Assigned, then

 

you would enter the IP Address here.

Subnet Mask

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

Default Gateway

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

Obtain DNS

Select Yes to obtain the DNS information

Server Address

automatically, or No to enter the information

Automatically

manually.

Primary DNS

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

Secondary DNS

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

Tertiary DNS

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

Host Name

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

Domain Name

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.
