Description

PPP

Available when PPPoE or PPTP is selected in

! Auto – The router will offer PAP or CHAP to

 

the server, and the server will determine

 

which PPP Authentication to use.

 

! PAP – Password Authentication Protocol.

 

! CHAP – Challenge Handshake Authentication

PPP User Name

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

PPP Password

Is either automatically displayed or manually

 

entered from information provided by your ISP.

PPP Password

The same password as the PPP Password field.

Confirm

 

PPP Service

Is either automatically displayed or manually

entered from information provided by your ISP.

PPP Idle Timer

Click to enable PPP Idle Time.

PPP Idle Time

Enter the amount of time to elapse before the

 

router automatically disconnects the connection

 

to the Internet.

PPP Auto

Enables the router to automatically reconnect to

PPTP Client IP

Is either automatically displayed or manually
