7 Physical Installation

7.1 Mounting the CTM-130/132

The CTM-130/132 is provided with a thermo-plastic elastomer (TPE) base that has eight 5mm mounting holes suitable for #10 screws. These may be used to screw or bolt the device to a suitable surface – take care not to over-tighten these screws and damage the elastomer base. Once this has been installed in the required location it is simply a matter of inserting the modem into its base. If the installation location is subject to shock or vibration forces in excess of the modem’s specification then suitable mounting must be arranged to alleviate these forces.
