14.Plug the power cords, cables, and peripherals back into the computer and turn on the computer.

15.Start Windows 3.x.

16.If you have your modem set to COM1/IRQ4 or COM2/IRQ3, go to “Software Installation” on page 29. If you have your modem configured to any other setting, open Program Manager and double-click the Main icon.

17. Double-click the Control Panel icon.

18. Double-click the Ports icon.

19.If it is not already selected, click the COM port for your modem. Then click Settings.
