2.Release the keyboard by prying it up along the top side of the keyboard. There are five tabs holding the keyboard in place on the front, particularly at the following keys: <Esc>, <F5>, <F10>, <Pause> and <*>.

3.Tilt the keyboard gently forward and let it rest upside down on the touchpad.

4.Before removing the keyboard entirely, carefully release the white clip securing the flat cable and disconnect the cable from the main board.

Keyboard Cover

To remove the keyboard cover, first remove the battery (see Battery on page 4) and then perform the following steps:
