Connection

To get the ThermoCheck to successfully communicate with the software, you will need to connect the interface cable to a serial communications port on your PC. If you select Get Database from the ThermoCheck menu, you will see a progress bar at the bottom of the program window, indicating how far through the process the software is. When the process is complete, a database window will appear on the screen. This window allows you to:

Create and upload a database in the unit (Products and Processes/Locations). Please refer to Chapter 3, Setting Up a Database, for further information.

Create and upload a user list (Users). Please refer to Chapter 4, Setting Up a User List, for further information.

View and modify configuration settings of the ThermoCheck (Settings). Please refer to Chapter 5, Customising the ThermoCheck, for further information.
