GETTING STARTED (CONT.)

ELECTRONIC VOICE

The electronic voice is a single programmable voice message that is stored in the memory of your TDD. The message is used for calling hearing people at VOICE/TDD number. The TDD will also send your state’s voice number, so the caller will know how to contact you. You must first program this Voice Relay number by using [CTRL]+[K]. The voice message will be repeated until your TDD conversation begins (when your TDD receives signals from another TDD or you type on the keyboard).

TO ENTER RELAY VOICE MESSAGE

The Krown 200 gives you one electronic voice message: “Please use TDD or Call through Relay. X XXX XXX XXXX.” To enter your relay voice and TTY number:

CTRL + K

CTRL + SHIFT + R Clears the relay number you have stored.

To turn the Electronic Voice ON or OFF

Press [CTRL] and [SPACE BAR] to turn your Electronic Voice on. VOICE ON will appear on the display screen.

Press [CTRL] and [SPACE BAR] to turn your Electronic Voice off again. VOICE OFF will appear on the display.
