10 - 2 VOLUME ADJUSTMENT/REPLACEMENT

In case the operability of the right and left levers are poor, and the performed CALIBRA- TION in test mode does not improve the situation, the cause may be failure of the Volume Gear’s engagement in the ASSY LEVER MECHA inside the control panel and or Volume malfunctioning. Follow the following procedure to perform Volume adjustment or re- placement. Since work is performed inside the energized cabinet, be very careful not to touch undesigned places.

ADJUSTMENT

1Turn power off and remove the CONTROL PANEL COVER (10-1)

2Loosen the 2 cscrews securing the VR BRACKET in the ASSY LEVER MECHA

to push the gear out of mesh.

3With the Lever being at the centering position, bring the gear into mesh so that the status of the volume’s shaft is as shown in (FIG.10.2).

4Fasten the screws securing the VR BRACKET.

5Turn power on and perform volume setting in the CALIBRATION in the test mode. (9-3)

6During the I/O TEST in the test mode, check to see if the volume value varies smoothly in accordance with operation of the Lever. (9-3)

7Turn off power.

8Install the CONTROL PANEL COVER to change back to former state.
