Serial Operation Precautions

The BCT15 and the BCD996T have a 9-pin serial connection in the back designed for use with serial operations in addition to the special serial jack on the front.

Other than connecting a GPS, the front and the back cannot be used or connected at the same time when the BC-RH96 is in use.

For example, if you connect a 9-pin serial cable to your PC to use the UASD programming software, disconnect the BC-RH96 front cable first.
