LAN

This screen allows you to configure the Local Area Network (LAN) interface on your Router.

See the field descriptions below for more details.

Option

Description

 

 

IP Address

Enter the IP address for the LAN interface

 

 

Subnet Mask

Enter the subnet mask for the LAN interface

 

 

Enable IGMP Snooping

Enable by ticking the box

 

Standard Mode: In standard mode, multicast traffic will flood to all bridge ports

 

when no client subscribes to a multicast group.

 

Blocking Mode: In blocking mode, the multicast data traffic will be blocked.

 

When there are no client subscriptions to a multicast group, it will not flood to

 

the bridge ports.

 

 

Enable LAN side Firewall

Check box to enable Firewall on LAN

 

 

Disable DHCP Server

Disables the DHCP server. Only to be done if Static IP address is set up

 

 

Enable DHCP Server

Select Enable DHCP server and enter your starting and ending IP addresses

 

and the lease time. This setting configures the router to automatically assign IP,

 

default gateway and DNS server addresses to every DHCP client on your LAN

 

 

Enable DHCP Server Relay

To relay DHCP requests from the subnet with no DHCP server on it to a DHCP

 

server on other subnets. DHCP Server Relay is disabled by default. To access

 

enable DHCP relay, please un-tick NAT enable first, that means to disable NAT

 

first, and then press save button.

 

 

Configure the second IP Address

Configure a second IP address by ticking the checkbox shown below and enter
