7.1.e - LED Behavior

The Keyspan Mini Port Replicator part number UPSH-112comes equipped with LED lights that reports the status of the Keyspan adapter USB hardware and and its ports.

The following table shows all of the possible states of these LED light and what they mean:

Name	Color	State	Significance
Power	Red	Off	The Keyspan adapter is not connected or not
			receiving power from your computer
		On	The Keyspan adapter is connected and is
			receiving power from your computer
USB1/	Green	On	The Keyspan USB Hub port is working
USB2			properly.
Serial	Green	On	The Keyspan serial port software and
		(Blinking Slow)	hardware are working properly. The
			Keyspan serial port is available for use.
		On	The Keyspan serial port is 'in use' by an
		(Solid)	application on your computer and is ready
			to send and receive data to and from your
			serial device.
		On	The Keyspan serial port is is sending
		(Blinking Fast)	and/or receiving data to and from the
			attached serial device
Printer	Green	On	The Keyspan printer port is working
			properly.
