Connecting various equipment

You can connect the projector to any type of video equipment, such as a VCR, DVD player, digital tuner, cable or satellite box, video game console or digital camera. You can also connect it to a desk- top or laptop PC or Apple Macintosh system.

The projector can connect multiple video equipment at the same time by using different cables. Make sure you select right signal input to display.

When connecting any signal source to the projector, be sure to:

1.Turn off all equipment before making any connections.

2.Use the correct signal cables for each source.

3.Ensure the cables are firmly inserted.

4.Connect all audio signals to external speakers. This projector is not equipped with speakers.

In the connections shown below, only certain cables are included with the projector (see p.11 ). Other cables are commercially available from electronics stores.

Connecting HDMI devices

You are required to use a HDMI cable when making connection between the projector and HDMI devices. HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) supports uncompressed video data transmis- sion between compatible devices like DTV tuners, DVD players and displays over a single cable. It provides pure digital viewing and listening experience.
