Align the cutout on the bottom of the card connector with the crossbar in the system-board card connector. Gently rock the card into the system-board card connector until it is fully seated.

6.When the card is firmly seated in the system-board card connector, secure the card-mounting bracket with the screw you removed in step 4. To remove a card:

1.Remove the computer cover.

2.Rotate the power supply.

3.Disconnect any cables connected to the card.

4.Remove the screw from the card-mounting bracket.

5.Grasp the card by its top corners, and ease it out of its system-board card connector.

6.If you are removing the card permanently, install a metal filler bracket over the empty card-slot opening in the computer.

NOTE: Installing filler brackets over empty card-slot openings is necessary to maintain Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification of the system. The brackets also keep dust and dirt out of your computer.
