Router Configuration
All the settings that define Router operations on both the LAN and WAN can be configured with the menus located in the Configuration folder. These menus are described in the first part of this chapter presented in the same order that they appear in your browser.
The Maintenance folder and Summary folder contain menus useful for system upkeep and analysis. These menus are described later in this chapter.
The first menu presented when you login is the Router/Bridge Configuration menu used to configure settings for the WAN connection.
Router/Bridge Configuration
Use the Router/Bridge Configuration menu to configure the WAN connection. The WAN connection must have the correct Connection Profile including accurate VPI and VCI values. For PPPoA and PPPoE Connection Profiles you must also supply user account information (User Name and Password) to access the service provider’s network. This is NOT the same as the System User Name and Password used to access the web manager of the Router. See the table below for a complete description of the various configurable parameters in the Router/Bridge Configuration menu.

NOTE: If the Connection Profile is changed to Router with RFC 1483, Bridge with RFC 1483 or Router with IPoA, the Router/Bridge Configuration menu will be changed after the configuration settings are saved and the device is restarted.
