The design saved creates 2 files, one with a “HP1” extension, and one with a .TAP extension.

Note: Only the .TAP extension is a valid file exten- sion.

Open Happy link.

Select FILE > PATTERN OPEN to search for a design.

Saved machine design on the card can only be displayed and retrieved as a .TAB file extension.

The V5 embroidery software can not read the .TAB file extension.

Select “Ok” to open design in Happy link.
