WMM/ QoS

The WMM page shows the Wi-Fi Multi-Media power save function and Direct Link Setup that ensure

the wireless network linking quality.

WMM/QoS Tab

WMM Enable

Check the box to enable Wi-Fi Multi-Media function that is meant to improve audio, video and voice applications transmitted over Wi-Fi.

WMM- Power Save Enable

Select a power save mode that preferred.

zAC_BK (Access Category Background)

zAC_BE (Access Category Best Effort)

zAC_VI (Access Category Video)

zAC_VO (Access Category Voice)

Direct Link Setup Enable

Check the box to enable Direct Link Setup (DLS). This function will be enabled under the connection with AP which must support the DLS function. Direct Link Setup allows direct STA-to-STA frame transfer within a BSS (Basic Service Set). This is designed for consumer use, where STA-to-STA transfer is more commonly used.

The setting of DLS( Direct Link Setup) indicates as follow :

Fill in the blanks of Direct Link with MAC Address of target STA, and the STA must conform to two conditions:

zConnecting with the same AP that supports DLS feature.

zDLS enabled.

Timeout Value represents that it disconnect automatically after few seconds. The value is integer that must be between 0~65535. It represents that it always connects if the value is zero. (Default value of Timeout Value is 60 seconds.)

Click this button to apply the settings.

Select a direct link STA, then click "Tear Down" button to disconnect the STA.
