Press RCV. repeatedly until FAX mode indicator lights.

Receiving Manually (in TEL Mode)

Press RCV. repeatedly until all the indicators are off.

The machine IS now in TEL

When the telephone rings, pick up the handset and answer it.

If you hear a fax tone, or if the person on the other end asks you to receive a document, press

START/COPY.

Replace the handset.

The machine begins receiving and returns to standby mode when the reception is complete.

4 In FAX mode, when you get a call, the machine answers the call on the second ring. You can change the number of rings. For more information, see page 4.12.

When reception is complete, the machine returns to standby mode.
