MonitorLink and MonitorLink Control

1.Connect a HDMI to HDMI cable from the MONLINK OUTPUT of a Mitsubishi HD-6000 Receiver/Controller to the MONLINK input on the plasma display. A HDMI to HDMI cable and a RS-232C cable are included in the HD-6000 accessory box.

2.Connect the L (left) and R (right) audio terminals from the Mitsubishi Receiver/Controller to AUDIO LEFT and AUDIO RIGHT on a stereo receiver.

3.Connect the MonitorLink Control cable (RS-232C) from the Mitsubishi Receiver/Controller back panel to the plasma display side panel.

External HDMI Device with HDCP Connection

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is the first all digital consumer electronics A/V interface that supports uncompressed video and multi-channel audio in a single digital interface. You can connect an EIA/CEA-861/861B compliant consumer electronic device, such as a set top box or DVD player with a HDMI or DVI output terminal to the plasma display’s HDMI input terminal. If the external device has a DVI output only, use a DVI to HDMI adapter cable to connect to the HDMI terminal.

1.Connect a HDMI cable from the HDMI output of the external HDMI device to the MonitorLink/HDMI input on the side of the plasma display.

2.Connect the L (left) and R (right) audio terminals from the external device to AUDIO LEFT and AUDIO RIGHT on a stereo receiver.

When used as a HDMI/DVI Input, MonitorLink input is compliant with HDCP and the EIA-861 standards for standard, extended and high definition video. This input is not intended for use with personal computers or devices outputting video signals with computer resolution.
