¡For DVDs or Video CDs, pressing the FF SEARCH g or FR SEARCH h button cycles the play-

back speed in four steps. In case of DVDs, the sound
will mute.
¡For audio CDs, the playback speed is × 16 fixed.
¡For Video CDs, the playback speed is × 2,			× 8 or × 30.

2Press the PLAY button to return to normal playback speed.

¡FAST FORWARD or REVERSE from a TITLE to other TITLEs is not possible.

SHUTTLE FUNCTION (Main Unit)

High speed play back DVD CD VCD

¡Turn the Shuttle Ring in either direction during play- back. The further the ring is rotated, the faster the play- back speed in the forward (FWD) or reverse (REV) direction. Keeping the ring in the rotated position cycles the playback speed every 1.5 seconds.

¡For Video CDs, the playback speed is × 2, × 8 or × 30.

¡Turn the Shuttle Ring in the FWD direction while the playback is paused to activate the slow motion mode. Keeping the ring in the rotated position cycles the playback speed in three steps every 1.5 seconds. (× 1/16-×1/8-×1/2)
