SETUP MENU OPTIONS

Setting the Date and Time

Auto Date and Time Setting

1 Press the MENU key to display the Main menu.

2 Use the CURSOR ▲▼ keys to highlight the Setup category. Press ENTER.

3 Use the CURSOR ▲▼ keys to highlight the Date / Time option. Press ENTER.

Manual Date and Time Setting

4 Use the CURSOR ▲▼ keys to select Manual Setup. Press

ENTER.

5 Use the CURSOR ▲▼ keys to select the Hour. Press the ENTER key (or Cursor ▲ ▼ keys) to step to the next field. Con- tinue until all fields are populated.

NOTE: The TV will ignore all entries if the MENU or EXIT key is pressed before all fields are pop- ulated.

4 Use the CURSOR ▲▼ keys to select Auto Clock. Press ENTER.

The TV will begin searching for an analog PBS channel transmitting date and time data. If these data are found, they will be used to set the Date and Time automatically. If no date and time data are found, the Manual setup screen will be displayed. When the process is completed (or cancelled), the last analog channel will be tuned.

NOTE: If the Date and Time are set automatically, the Date and Time will be updated each time that PBS station is tuned.

6 When you have entered data in all of the fields, press the EXIT key to return to normal TV viewing.

If a power failure occurs after the Date/Time has been set using the Auto Clock method, the Auto Clock setting screen will appear when the TV is powered on.
