Saving Recorded Images

Recorded images can be copied into the archive area of the hard disk or downloaded to a personal computer.

This function is used only for saving important images that have been recorded in the normal recording area and alarm recording area.

Images that are copied will be saved as individual images. Moving pictures are handled by specifying the number of images that need to be copied after the start picture. The maximum number of images that can be archived in one copy operation is 10,000 when copying to the archive area and 1,000 when downloading to a computer.

In order to protect the recording operation of the digital video recorder, the status of the network is checked, and if the network is busy, the digital video recorder may be disconnected from the network depending on the operating environment. If a command is given to transfer large volumes of data all at once (particularly when saving 1100 or more images at a time), the digital video recorder may be disconnected from the network, so you may need to restrict the number of images being copied at one time depending on the environment.

If the archive area becomes filled with images, you can temporarily copy the images to another medium such as a CompactFlash card, and then press the [AREA FULL RESET] button on the RECORDING AREA SET main menu to reset the digital video recorder. (See p. 10)
