Installation

The Crystal Series LCD Display is equipped with stereo speakers, which are mounted

directly below the screen. If you prefer, you can connect the rear-panel speaker outputs to

Connect the

 

 

(positive) and

 

(negative) speaker wires to the rear-panel SPEAKER-R

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and SPEAKER-L terminals; see Figure 3-8.Maintain the correct polarity. For more information, refer to the owner’s manual for your speakers.

Twist exposed wire strands together.

Push tab to the

 

 

open position, and

 

 

insert the wire.

 

 

Then, close tab firmly to

 

 

secure the wire in place.

You can also remove the built-in speakers if they are not needed; this permits installation of the display in locations where space above and/or below it is very limited. See Figure 3-9.

Remove these screws to allow the speakers to be detached.
