Power
1 Power Button or Key
Use this button or key to switch the Showcase DVD from the

The blue power LED illuminates when the Showcase DVD is in the operational mode.

4Front Infrared Sensor
Disc Functions
The infrared sensor receives commands from the Showcase DVD remote control when the IR select switch (37) is in the up position. For proper remote control operation, make sure the infrared sensor is not covered or obstructed.
5Repeat Button or Key
Use this button or key to activate and deactivate disc repeat options. See also: To Play a DVD or VCD, page 20; To Play an Audio CD, page 24; To Play an MP3 Disc, page 27.
6Pause Button or Key
Use this button or key to pause disc playback. The phrase PAUSE appears briefly in the status window in the upper left corner of the television. To resume playback, press the pause button or key again, or press the play button or key (8).
7Stop Button or Key
Use this button or key to stop disc playback. A status window appears in the upper left corner of the television screen, followed by a RESUME temporary feedback field icon. If you are playing a DVD or VCD, press play (8) when the RESUME icon appears, to resume playback from the stop point. If you do not press play while RESUME icon is on the screen, the DVD starts playing from the first title and chapter.
8Play Button or Key
Use this button or key to begin or resume disc playback.
9Track Forward Button or Key
Track Forward. Use this button or key to move forward one chapter or track. The mode selected appears in a status window in the upper left corner of the television screen. The front panel display (13) shows the currently playing chapter or track number.
