6.9 - Output 6-Band Parametric EQ

The DriveRack 4800 and 4820 offer an Output 6-Band Parametric EQ on each output channel. The 6-Band Parametric EQ provides Frequency, Gain and Q control for each of the 6 EQ bands.

EQ On/Off switch

This turns the Parametric EQ on and off.

Flat/Restore switch

These buttons either flatten all bands (Flat) or restore (Restore) all bands to their previous settings.

Show Composite button

Only available on the GUI, this button provides a composite view of the Parametric and Bandpass filtering on the channel. If Window Recycling is turned on it is a convenient way to “jump” back and forth between the Composite and filter views (Bandpass and Parametric) while making changes.

Filter Select switch

This allows selection of the Parametric EQ filter to be adjusted.

Filter On/Off switch

This turns the Selected (1-9) parametric EQ on and off.

Frequency (Fc) fader

This sets the frequency of the selected Parametric EQ and is adjustable between 20Hz to 20kHz.

Gain fader

This sets the amount of boost or cut of the selected Parametric EQ, and is adjustable between +/-15 dB.

Q fader

This sets the Q (or bandwidth) of the selected Parametric EQ and is adjustable between 0.13 to 16.0.

Type Bell and Shelf switch

Filter 1 and 6 can be switched between Bell and Shelf filters.
