Note: Setting up a basic Network

The DriveRack 4800 and 4820 come with an included Ethernet cable. The DriveRack 4800/4820 is set up at the factory for DHCP allowing it to be assigned an IP address by a DHCP Server. If there is no DHCP Server present, the DriveRack will then default to Auto-IP, meaning that it will give itself a semi- random IP address. For more information on how to properly configure the network setting please refer to the Appendix.
