Cancelling the search

Touch [ 38 ] to resume normal playback.

NOTE

Touch once to start and continue forward or reverse search at a low speed. Each time you touch, the search speed goes from 1 times( x 1) to 2 times( x 2) to 3 times( x 3).

Audio is not output during forward or reverse search. (DVD, VCD)

The video may be disturbed during forward or reverse search.

When [ 1 ] or [ ¡ ] is touched during menu playback of a VCD, the screen may sometimes return to the menu screen.

BChapter/Track Search

Making a Forward Search

Touch [ ¢ ] once to fast forward to the next chapter/track, twice to fast forward to the chapter/track after that, and so forth.

Making a Reverse Search

Touch [ 4 ] once to search back to the beginning of the current chapter/track, twice to search back to the beginning of the previous chapter/track, and so forth.

ASlow playback

C Slow playback is possible in 3 speed steps. Forward slow playback

Touch [ ].

Reverse slow playback

Touch [ ].

Cancelling the slow playback

Touch [ 38 ] to resume normal playback.

NOTE

to 1/2 times( x 2) to 1/3 times( x 3).

Reverse slow playback is not available with a VCD.

CPausing and Restarting Disc Play

Touch [ 38 ] to make the disc pause.

Touch [ 38 ] again to start play again.

NOTE

The following operation may not be available with certain discs.

CFrame-by-frame playback

B1 Touch [ 38 ] during pause.

2Each time you touch [ ¢ ] advances to the next frame.

Cancelling the frame-by-frame playback

Touch [ 38 ] to resume normal playback.

NOTE

According to the screen, there are times when the Menu or background image etc., will not operate.

EStopping playback

Touch [ 7 ] once during playback stops it and the position where it is stopped is stored in memory. (When the R indicator is displayed)

Touch [ 7 ] twice to cancel playback.

FSelecting the Time Display for Disc

Each time you touch [ TIME ], the time display during disc play switches as follows:

DVD

C : Chapter time < >T : Title time

NOTE

The chapter time is not displayed depending on software.

VCD

P : Elapsed time of track being played < >

A : Elapsed time of entire disc

NOTE

[ TIME ] is not displayed when the PBC function is set to “ON”.(see P.16)
