B Track Scan Function

Touch [ 38 ] to make the disc pause.

Touch [ 38 ] again to start play again.

DTrack Search

Search forwards or backwards through the tracks on the disc until you reach the one that you want to listen to.

Making a Forward Search

Touch [ ¢ ] once to fast forward to the next track, twice to fast forward to the track after that, and so forth.

Making a Reverse Search

Touch [ 4 ] once to search back to the beginning of the current track, twice to search back to the beginning of the previous track, and so forth.

Touch [ ¡ ].

Reverse search

Touch [ 1 ].

Cancelling the search

Touch [ 38 ] to resume normal playback.

IStopping playback

Touch [ 7 ] once during playback stops it and the position where it is stopped is stored in memory.

Touch [ 7 ] twice to cancel playback.

ATrack Repeat Function

Repeat playing the current track.

Touch [ REP ] to switch the track repeat play function on and off.

The REP indicator is displayed when the track repeat play function is turned on.

NOTE

Repeat play is cancelled when you eject the disc.

Successively play the beginning of each track on a disc until you find the one that you want to listen to.

Turning Track Scan Function On/Off

Touch [ SCN ] to switch the track scan function on and off.

The SCN indicator is displayed when the track scan function is turned on.

The first 10 seconds of each track are played, and the tracks are played in order.

Stopping to Listen to the Track Being Scanned

Touch [ 38 ] or [ SCN ] again to stop the scan and keep on listening to a track normally.

NOTE

Scan play is cancelled when you eject the disc.

The track scan function only scans each track on a disc once.

ETrack Random Play Function

Play all the tracks on the current disc in random order.

1Touch [ RDM ] to switch the random play function on and off.

The RDM indicator is displayed when the random play function is turned on.

The display of the track number changes continuously as the next track is being selected.

When the track has been selected, play starts.

2To change the track being heard, touch [ ¢ ]. Another track is selected and played.

NOTE

Random play is cancelled when you eject the disc.
