A Adjusting the Bass Level

H Adjusting the Fader Levels

Each time you touch [ ], the bass level is increased.

Each time you touch [ ], the bass level is decreased.

NOTE

No display this item when the KDS-P900 is connected.

BAdjusting the Treble Level

Each time you touch [ ], the treble level is increased.

Each time you touch [ ], the treble level is decreased.

NOTE

No display this item when the KDS-P900 is connected.

Each time you touch [ ](F), the sound in the front channel emphasised.

Each time you touch [ ](R), the sound in the rear channel emphasised.

FTurning the Loudness On/Off

This function amplifies low and high tones when the volume is turned down.

The LOUD indicator is displayed on the source control screen, when the loudness function is on.

Each time you touch [ LOUD ] to switch the function on and off.

NOTE

No display this item when the KDS-P900 is connected.

CAdjusting the Balance Levels

Each time you touch [ ](L), the sound in the left channel is emphasised.

Each time you touch [ ](R), the sound in the right channel is emphasised.

DAdjusting the Non-Fader Levels <N-F>

<When the KDS-P900 is not connected>

Each time you touch [ ], the non-fader level is increased.

Each time you touch [ ], the non-fader level is decreased.

DAdjusting the Sub Woofer Levels <SUB>

<When the KDS-P900 is connected>

Each time you touch [ ], the sub woofer level is increased.

Each time you touch [ ], the sub woofer level is decreased.

NOTE

You cannot operate when the “Sub Woofer“ is set to “OFF“ on the digital effect setting Screen ( see.P.47 ).

GExternal Amp Control

Adjust the bass boost level of the external amplifier using the main unit.

Each time you touch [ Amp Ctrl ] to switch the Bass boost level as follows:

" OFF "

Bass boost level is flat.

" MODE1 "

Bass boost level is low (+6dB).

" MODE2 "

Bass boost level is high (+12dB).

NOTE

As of December 2000, the power amplifiers controllable by the main unit are as follows: KAC-X501F/PS501F/X401M/PS401M/X301T/ PS301T/X201T/PS201T

IAdjusting the Volume Offset

Set the sound level of the each source selected by adjusting the level difference between the basic sound level and the required level.

Each time you touch [ 3 ], the level is increased.

Each time you touch [ 2 ], the level is decreased.
