Preparation

• Release protection before proceeding: - Cartridge (p. 9) RAM

- Disc (p. 60) RAM

•RAM When the title is protected (p. 52), you can only access “Properties” and “Cancel Protection”. Release the protection to access other items.

Editing titles/chapters and playing chapters

1	Press DIRECT NAVIGATOR.
	•	RAM	Press ▲▼◄► to select “VIDEO”. If you play still pictures,
2		press	▲▼◄► to select “PICTURE”. (p. 54)
	Press ▲▼◄► to select the title.

•You can also select a title by entering a 2-digit number with the numeric buttons.

e.g., 5:	[0]	→ [5]	DIRECT NAVIGATOR		Title View
15: [1]		→ [5]	DVD-RAM				VIDEO	PICTURE
• If you enter a number larger			07		08		- -

Multiple editing

Select with ▲▼◄► and press (PAUSE). (Repeat.)

A check mark appears. Press (PAUSE) again to cancel.

3 Press SUB MENU, then ▲▼ to select the operation and press ENTER.

•If you select “Edit”, press ▲▼ to select the operation and press

ENTER.

If you select “Chapter View”.

4 Press ▲▼◄► to select the chapter.

•You can also select a chapter by entering a 3-digit number with the numeric buttons.

Disc / Card Operation

RAM You can change the order of chapters and create a play list.

•DVD-RTitles are divided into about 5-minute chapters after finalizing. (p. 62)

The maximum number of items on a disc:

• Titles: 99

• Chapters: Approximately 1 000 (Depends on disc contents.)

e.g., 5: [0] → [0] → [5]

15:[0] → [1] → [5]

115:[1] → [1] → [5]

•If you enter a number larger than the total number of chapters, the last chapter is selected.
