Troubleshooting
5.1Opening a Device
If the DolbyRemote application is unable to communicate with the unit, check the following:

It is possible that hardware constraints on the controlling PC can cause problems with the remote connection. Both devices transfer data continuously to update dynamic information such as meter values. If the port is using a shared IRQ with another device then it is possible that the connection may be lost. In this case using another COM port can solve the problem.
If the connection is lost the unit will continue to operate with the current set of parameters contained immediately before the connection was broken, however it is not advisable to use the unit in this way if this problem persists.
