When you insert a SACD or a disc with MP3, JPEG, MPEG, WMA or MPEG- 4/DivX® files (or mixed), the player will launch an on-screen menu that lets you easily select and play. The menu gives you several options for playback, includ- ing repeat and shuffle modes.

1. Navigating to a file or folder

Select the folder that you want to play by pressing the direction keys Cand Dand press the button “ENTER”. The files of the corresponding folder will now be shown on the screen. Select the SACD, MP3, JPEG, MPEG, WMA or MPEG-4/DivX®file that you want to play by pressing again the Cand Dkeys. To skip to the next file, press the button F. To skip to the previous file, press the button H.

Note:

If you select a JPEG file, the selected picture will appear in the preview box on the right side.

2. Playing a file

Pressing the button “ENTER” will play the selected file or will open the select- ed folder. To stop the playing of a SACD, MP3, MPEG, WMA or MPEG-4/DivX®file, please press the Jbutton on your remote control. To stop playing a JPEG file, please press the button “MENU” on your remote control.

3. Selecting the play mode

The play mode gives you the option to play a single file or all files, to repeat a single file or all files, as well as to play the files in random order. Press the but- ton “REPEAT 1/ALL” on your remote control to select one of the following play modes:

Single - Plays only the selected file, then stops.

Repeat one - Repeats only the selected file; plays the file in a loop.

Repeat folder - Repeats the selected folder continuously.

Folder - Plays only the selected folder, then stops.

Shuffle - Plays the files in a random order continuously.

Random - Plays the files in a random order once, then stops.

The play mode can be changed by pressing the button “REPEAT 1/ALL” on your remote control until you reach your desired setting. The current play mode is shown in the top left corner of the screen and will disappear after a few sec- onds. To check the status of your play mode, press the button “DISPLAY”. The tracks of the SACD or the MP3, JPEG, MPEG, WMA or MPEG-4/DivX®files (or mixed) will be played according to the selected play mode.
