Highlight the menu point “Version”. On the screen will now be displayed the current firmware version of your DVD player. This may be needed for technical support.

Furthermore, the DivX VOD registration code can be displayed, if you select the option “DivX(R) VOD” in this menu. For more information, please refer to page 28.

Set the DVD playback mode

Default

If you would like to return all settings of your DVD player’s setup menu to the factory defaults, choose “Default - Reset”. This will reset all language, video, audio and general settings with exception of the parental control and the pass- word. After all, the parental control and the password features would be of little use, if your kids could simply clear them with a reset.

DVD mode

In this menu you can select which DVD format you want to play. You can select DVD-Video or DVD-Audio. Some DVD-Audio discs (interactive Music-DVDs) include additionally DVD-Video content. In this case select “DVD-Video”to play the DVD-Audio disc as a DVD-Video disc. Please note that in this case only the DVD-Video content of the disc is played.

DVD-Video: Select this option to play a DVD-Video disc or to play a DVD-Audio disc as a DVD-Video disc.

DVD-Audio: Select this option to play a DVD-Audio disc.
