Playing a Super Audio CD

You can also use your DVD player to play Super Audio CDs (SACD). SACD is a new generation of the CD which dispose of a higher storage capacity, a high- er frequency spectrum (0-100kHz), a more detailed reproduction as well as a longer playing time and additional data like lyrics or graphics.

1.Insert a SACD. If playback does not start automatically, select the required folder using the direction button Cor Dand press “ENTER” to confirm your selection. Select now the track you want to play. If the TV is on, there will be shown the same display as for MP3 discs (see illustration on the left side) and the same features as when playing MP3 discs will be available.

2.Press the Play button Aor the button “ENTER” to start the playback.

3.Stop playback using the Stop button J.

SACDs can be played in different modes. For more information, please refer to page 60.

Playing a WMA CD

WMA = Windows Media Audio. A streaming media format for audio and video developed by Microsoft.

1.Insert a WMA CD. If playback does not start automatically, select the requi- red folder using the direction button Cor Dand press “ENTER” to confirm your selection. Select now the WMA file you want to play. If the TV is on, there will be shown the same display as for MP3 discs (see illustrati- on in section “Playing an MP3 disc”) and the same features as when play- ing MP3 discs will be available.

2.Press the Play button Aor the button “ENTER” to start the playback.
